Sorry Folks

I know in the last email that I promised everyone I would respond to the piece at the ARI about a "Christian Society". I'm afraid I won't be able to do it just yet. All blogging's going to have to take a back seat for a while. I've got some major problems on the homefront that need to be addressed and they require my full attention. It may be awhile before I'm heard from again.

One Day the Left Might Actually Grow UP..

But I won't hold my breath. Make no mistake, I'm not a huge Ann Coulter fan, but this was just stupid. I mean, c'mon. One of the most widely known right wing pundits and the best you can do is play air-jerk in front of the crowd?

Oh well, at least somebody thinks it's funny. It sounds like those little turds at DU are having one giant joygasm over there, no?

SWIII...A Bloodbath??

According to the reviews it is.

The new Star Wars film is a "bloodbath" which deserves its parental guidance PG-13 rating, a critic has said after an early screening of the movie.

All I can say is...excellent. (C'mon, it can't too bad, it's still PG13) Hopefully this last installment will be at least a little better than the previouse two attrocities. Yes, they were horrible. If you don't think so.....you're wrong. They were worse than bad.

"So what Overlord, you want more violence to make it better?"

Well, pretty much..ya. Listen, don't get me wrong. There is such a thing as excessive violence (or so I've heard), and I will screen the movie before I let my kids see it. But for crying out loud it's sci-fi violence. That's the best kind, cuz it's so over the top it can't possibly be real! That's what makes it so great. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing this one. Partly cuz I'll be glad this horrible, horrible series of prequels will be over, but I also wanna see how well they show Any's drop into homicidal psychosis.

What a Freak

This individual is beyond sick. This is...this is...we it's just sick for God's sake. What this person freak is talking about is normalizing pedophilia. As in, hey I'm like 35 but I think it's still cool to have sex with 12 year olds man... Right.....

People like this moron should euthanized and put out of the rest of the world's misery. Pedophilia is a sexual orientation??? Gimme a freakin' break. This creepy bastard should be hung by his testicals and beaten until the mere thought of a child makes him sob in terror. What..what..what can you even say to something like this? Read this bit from this freaks webpage:

Realize that pedophiles LOVE children. They do NOT advocate the use of force or coercion (beyond encouragement) on kids to have sex with them! Sex is not harmful for children or adults, provided it is done honestly, lovingly, and with good intentions and consent. It is not something kids should be "protected" from, like a fast moving car. It is the guilt trip of society that causes harm to perfectly good relationships. This must be changed-not the behavior of pedophiles or the children they love and care for. Pedophiles believe in "empowerment" of young people. By this, they mean that children OWN themselves, NOT adults. A pedophile realizes that a child may say "no" to sex, and that same child can say "yes" to it! In no way does a TRUE pedophile advocate FORCING his/her sexual needs on a child! Pedophiles love and respect children-and their wishes. The media has made pedophiles out to be perverts imposing their will on children. The truth is, to a pedophile, the very IDEA of this is reprehensible. Unlike other adults who do not really respect children, who do not truly feel they own their bodies, pedophiles believe children have a say in their lives, and a voice. They accept that children are sexual beings. They know that even infant boys have erections and baby girls lubricate. Pedophiles understand that society has no right to deny a child sexual activity in a manner he or she CHOOSES. And they CAN make that choice! It is not about us, or our "forcing sexual activity on children by taking advantage of their innocence"-it is about THEM! A child may decide to engage in sex with another kid as a part of general experimentation. If the child and his/her partner chooses this freely and non-coercively, there is no problem with it in the eyes of a pedophile. If that same child desires sex with an adult, if it is non-abusive then that is fine as well, provided ALL parties consent. Children can have loving relationships with adults if they want of various kinds. This is what pedophiles believe. Sometimes it includes sex, in other cases it does not. The adult who has sex with a child is not "betraying his/her trust", he/she is usually (provided it is a non-abusive, non-coercive legitimate relationship) AUGMENTING the bond between them, in much the same way that sex cements other, more common relationships in the standard orientations. What pedophiles believe is that children (and adults!) should not be made to feel GUILT over HONEST and POSITIVE sexual activity. They ought to be allowed to express themselves this way, as it is a very powerful, personal part of them that deserves-demands expression! A child can show love to someone he/she cares about without sexual activity. A common example is ordinary parent-child relationships. But a child can also show love to another (possibly another child or an adult that a child loves and cares for) with sex. A child can also do so out of curiosity or pleasure in some cases as well. In either scenario, if he/she chooses to do so, pedophiles believe in protecting that right of free expression and of self-determination. Pedophiles LISTEN to children, when many other adults do not. They think that kids should NEVER be abused in any way. It is not an unreasonable statement to say that pedophiles are the biggest "child-advocates" in the universe-since they are the only group in existence that truly believes in protecting them and their rights!

Do I even need to go on about how delusional this guy is? About how he is beyond sick on so many levels?

Good Lord, what a tool. God have mercy on this man, for I most certainly wouldn't if he ever came near any of my kids....

File this one Under Florid-Duh!

I'd like to meet the jack-ass judge that made this decision.

MIAMI (Reuters) - Florida dropped its fight on Tuesday to prevent a 13-year-old girl in state care from having an abortion in a case that marked the state's second recent foray into controversial personal rights issues.

Weeks after it unsuccessfully tried to intervene in the bitter dispute over the fate of a brain-damaged woman, Terri Schiavo, the state's Department of Children & Families said it would not appeal a ruling from a Palm Beach state court allowing the teenager to have an abortion.

"There will be no further appeals and we will respectfully comply with the court's decision," DCF District Manager Marilyn Munoz said in a written statement.

It was not immediately known if the girl, who is 14 weeks pregnant, had had the abortion.

The case stirred concerns among civil libertarians who argued the child had a constitutional right to decide to have an abortion under state law and condemned the Florida government's attempts to interfere in personal rights.

"You've got to be blind not to see a pattern here," said Howard Simon, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida. "The pattern is the state's hostility to the exercise of personal freedom ... when that personal freedom is not consistent with the prevailing ideology of the state government."

Florida's governor is Jeb Bush, President Bush's younger brother, who was active in trying to keep Schiavo alive and who has said he personally opposes abortion.

"It's a tragedy that a 13-year-old child would be in a vulnerable position where she could be made pregnant and it's a tragedy that her baby will be lost," Jeb Bush said on Tuesday. "There's no good news in this at all."

The child, identified in court only as L.G., is a ward of the state who became pregnant when she ran away from a state-licensed group home. Under Florida law, a 13-year-old cannot consent to sex, making her pregnancy the result of a statutory rape.

LEGAL GUARDIAN SAYS NO

The Department of Children & Families, her legal guardian after her parents' rights were terminated, petitioned the courts to block an abortion, arguing she was not mature enough to make such a choice.

It cited a state statute that says: "In no case shall the department consent to sterilization, abortion or termination of life support."

Florida law, however, allows minors to choose to have abortions. Critics of the DCF action argued that the child's constitutional right overrode any conflicting state statute.

Here's the part I find most disturbing...

"The constitutional right belongs to the child, and it belongs to the child even if the parents object," said Mary Coombs, a family law professor at the University of Miami. "In this case, DCF didn't have any more right than the parents."

So exactly what rights do the partents have. I realize the girl was in state care, but we hare heading in a dangerous direction here folks.

The DCF legal effort marked the second time in recent weeks the state welfare agency had tried to intervene in a high-profile case involving personal rights issues.

It petitioned the courts to take custody of Terri Schiavo, the subject of a controversial right-to-die case in which her parents fought for years against attempts by her husband to remove her feeding tube and allow her to die.

Critics condemned attempts by Jeb Bush to intervene in a family dispute in which courts had repeatedly ruled in favor of Schiavo's husband Michael, who said he was carrying out his wife's wishes. Terri Schiavo died on March 31.

In the abortion case, Palm Beach County Judge Ronald Alvarez, who temporarily blocked the abortion last week, ruled on Monday that the girl could have the procedure over the objections of the DCF, her guardian.

Mathew Staver, president of Orlando, Florida-based Liberty Counsel, a conservative advocacy group, said he was disappointed by the state's decision not to pursue appeals.

"A second opinion is clearly warranted in a case where life and death is at stake," he said. "An appellate court should look at whether or not the girl is mature enough to make a decision like this."

I've got a crazy idea. Give the girl a real life lesson in personal responsibility and let her have the baby. But oh, wait..no...that won't work. That would mean people would have consider and accept the consequences of their actions. Well, we can't have that now can we....

Heh, My Kind of People

Yessiree!! These are definitely my kind of people.

Ha! Stupid, smelly, ugly, greasy, grimy, unbathed, uneducated, pot-smoking, yellow-toothed with grimy fingernails pacifist hippies. Ya know I hate 'em.
