More Random Ramblings

Michael Moore has said that removing Sadamm was a good thing, but in the same breath asked if you would sacrifice your child for Iraqi freedom. That's about as real a question as me asking a lefty why the life of an Iraqi citizen is worth less than the life of an American.

Some of the blithering, drooling, hippies like to argue that if you believe in the war so much and support the military so much, why don't you join? What I wanna know is, if you believe so much in gay marriage, why don't you get one? If you believe in abortion so much, why don't you go have one?--Yeah, I've got a million of 'em folks.

A lot of people hate Wal-Mart these days. I love Wal-Mart. As someone else mentioned, they have great prices on paint. Actually, they don't like them becuase of the allegedly low wages. As a former employee of Wal-Mart, I can tell you personally they pay quite well. The average wage at Wally World is around 10$ an hour. Not too bad for someone who didn't go to college. My own mother in fact worked her way through college working at Wal-Mart. When I worked at Wal-Mart, I started making $9.75, when I left just under a year later, I was making almost 13$ an hour. And I was just loading trucks. Thirteen bucks an hour, to drive around on a stinkin' pallet truck for 8-10 hours. Not to mention the other benefits. Profit sharing (which resulted in quite a few wealthy retirees from Wally), a just obscene amount of sick and personal time, company 401 contributions (even if the employee didn't contribute), on top of a whole slew of others. So shut up and love it.

Speaking of minimum wage, why do some nibbleheads (mostly hippies) think that raising the minimum wage will help anyone? Look at the minimum wage in California, and then look at the cost of living in California. If you noticed that they were comparative, you win! You force companies to pay more money, they have to compensate for that. I was working for a small company in the Tampa area of Florida when ol'e Billy Boy had the MW raised to $5.15/hour. Almost that very day, every one of our prices went up. Our employees hours were cut, and some were just let go. Of course, the supporters of the increased MW (mostly hippies) just assumed that companies would just throw out the extra money out of the goodness of their hearts. Stupid hippies. I hate hippies.

So the great ban against those evil "assault weapons" is now dead. Yee Haw!! Ding Dong the witch is dead...oh...uhm...sorry. The ban was a joke anyway. Most people believed the AWB was against fully automatic weapons, which have actually been banned from private ownership since around the 30's. The AWB actually referred mostly to certain accessories to semi-automatic rifles. And by the way, to you gun control freaks, if someone is killed by a gun...chances are IT WASN'T A LEGAL GUN TO BEGIN WITH!!!!! So you're only punishing law abiding citizens anyway. In 2002,
over 17,000 people in the U.S. dies in alchohol related car accidents. Are we now going to ban alchohol? Or how about cars? Yeah, that's a good idea. Then the enviro-whackos would be happy too.

Kerry's been very critical of GWB about the Iraq war and the way it was handled. He even has new plan to take care of it should he be elected. My question is, what is his plan? His supporters continue to talk up his plan, and maybe even I would too, if someone could tell me WHAT THE HE!! HIS PLAN IS!!!!!

Kerry has also said he would also bring our "allies in Germany and France". Uh huh. And what magical method would the good senator use to do this? Say please? Besides, Germany's still pissed we kicked their bumms 50 years ago.

Speaking of France, many people have argued that we have no right to not hear France's argument because without them we would've have won our independence. That may or may not be true, but this much is certain. If not for us, France (and most of Europe) would certainly all be speaking German right now (see above comment). I don't see how people can honestly use that argument and then in the same breath say we have no business aiding the Iraqi people in winning their freedom. Imagine if the French had felt that way.

A whole lot of hoopla has been made these days about racial profiling or religious profiling against Islam. To all those against profiling, let me ask you one question. When someone bombs an abortion clinic, who is the first group of people that comes to mind as being responsible? Yup, I thought so.

The hypocracy of the left never ceases to amaze me.
The "rationality of the left":
--Bill Clinton launches missles blindly at Iraq-good thing.
--Bill Clinton goes on military escapadedes into Somalia, Bosnia etc. with little if any U.S. interests involved-good thing.
--Bill Clinton gives Haliburton no bid contract into Balkans-good thing
--Bill Clinton has 5.4% unemployment rate (same as current rate the left is whining about)-good thing
--George W Bush does anything-bad thing
Ohhhh, ok. Now I get it. It all makes perfect sense. Dubby has an R next to his name. Stupid hippies.

Democrats in California are getting upset because republican officials are asking people to show ID and prove their citizenship before voting and trying to take action against voter fraud. This wouldn't get me so much but for the 25,000 plus democrats registered in both New York and Florida. Stupid hippies.

Like I said, I've got a million of 'em folks. Stay tuned, I'm here all week.

Oh yeah, I hate hippies also.
