Link Roundup

Being lazy today, so instead of writing my own original post, I'm just going to take the easy way out and hijack material from other folks:

-This Blog is Full of Crap is claiming we should let Cindy meet the president. (Thanks to Bloodspite for finding the link.)

-John Hawkins has a telling interview it O'le Newt (Gingrich that is).

-Spoons has his own thoughts about the Gaza pullout.

-Mike is back from his vacation and still hasn't published the post he promised us.

-La Shawn Barber makes a good point regarding the firing of Michael Graham. I have to say I agree. Remeber Howard Stern?

-Finally, Jay has an excellent post about the ACLU's stand on National Security;
“A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country, by scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us: thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means.”--Thomas Jefferson

Also, in in the middle of his post is a really cool pic that I had to keep.

One final thought, while the moonbats are going on about how Bush and the military are no better than or even worse than Saddam and the terrorists, let me point out one major difference. The United States military stands between terrorists and civilians, the terrorists standhide behind the civilians.
